Helicopter Heaven

Ultra Modern Apache Attack Helicopters.

The British Army received today delivery of the Apache Attack Helicopters. Britains new gunship is a psychological weapon as its powerful radar can attack from behind cover and could even spot a Pokemon card from 7 miles away. An American aircraft built in Britan by more than 180 companies. This is as big an event for the army as the recent millenium celebration.

SPIDER WORLD

MOZAMBIQUE STILL IN TROUBLE. Floods recede but problems remain.

The world seems to have forgot about the disaster in Africa. Children are still suffering from diseases after the floods in Mozambique. Some people have still not been rescued. They still need lots and lots of helicopters. They are struggling for food and their fears are coming true, since their waterlogged houses are falling down. They have nothing left.

The Five Little Pinky's
Scientists Big Break Through Something To Snort About!

Many people waiting all over the world to have organ transplants may soon receive help from pigs. Five piglets who have successfully been cloned, were born in Virginia, America. Scientists believe this to be the first step in creating organs in pigs which human bodies will not reject. Other issues which need to be considered are will the pigs suffer at all would it be right to take an animals life to save a human life?

HAVE YOU RECHARGED YOUR BABY?
New plans for the teaching of sex education.
The Government has introduced an electronic baby. The electronic baby has been sent to different parts of England to secondary schools for girls under sixteen. The girls have to take turns to look after the electronic baby for a week. The girls have found it exhausting and this has discouraged them from thinking about having a baby so young.

It is vital for all schools to teach their Year 6 pupils about sex and the girls should also be taught about periods. Marriage should be disscussed in KS2.

There are many teenage pregnancies now, but it can be prevented. If every child learnt sex education in year 6 they would maybe know the risks, and be familiar with contraception. What if a teenager became pregnant and hadn't been taught sex education?

CANINE CHAOS

Every Year More And More Animals Are Abandoned On The Streets. Because of all the crulty to animals in England rescue centres are getting crammed and animals are suffering from tics, lice, fleas ,roundworms ,tapeworms and rabies. If no one comes for them they have to be put down. So if you see a dog on the streets contact a vet or the RSPCA as soon as possible.

A mother has been charged for killing her little baby. Rabina Hashim was today charged with the murder of her four month old daughter. The body was found by the police divers in the Leeds-Liverpool canal after a search. Rabina Hashim lives in Burnley and her daughter was called Emma Jade Dyson. Emmas mother told the police that her baby had been taken from outside the public toilets in the shopping centre. The police had hoped to find baby Emma in the undergrowth along the banks.

YOUR REPORTS:
E-mailed to the NEWSROOM from around the UK.

Dear Newsroom, I'm a Student Teacher from Exeter University and I must say I'm very impressed with your website. Anyway here's a little local news for you: It is now the end of term and all of the fourth year student teachers are very busy. We have a lot of essays to write before next term. Some of the courses do not have to write essays, the drama teachers have to write and perform plays. In fact this year was the last year that plays were being performed. They were both very good; one was about an Angel trying to find a new body and the other was about a sleepy village called Lower Upton. Here's a brief outline of the 'Lower Upton' play: The scenery was very much like a cartoon, very colourful and basic. It had hardly any dialogue in it at all and a lot of the acting was mimed to music. The local village had lots of different people living in it; farmers, artists, OAP's, a postman and the owner of a local pub. The pub was taken over by a large brewery who introduced a gimmick, a real speckled cockerel. The cockerel started annoying all of the villagers because it was loud and it speckled the war memorial. The villagers decided that something must be done and they all plotted to kill it! The invented lots of imaginative weapons; rope, frying pan, hammer and chisel and even a letter box flap! They eventually decided to blow it up! The music reached a crescendo, with lots of fast movement from the actors. Suddenly the bomb went off! It really made me jump! The play ended with the brewery buying a new Cockerel. All of there efforts were in vain! It was great fun and I really enjoyed it, I hope they get a good mark. Well that is the only interesting thing that has happened a round here for a while, I hope it is good local news!
