Some people do not like to see young conifers planted in broadland woodland but Skelgyhll woods has always had it conifers and these will replace some that are coming to the end of their life.
The aim of the National Trust is to maintain variety within the woods. The tall conifers are magnificent and it would be a pity if there were no conifers in the wood.
