This tree is called a Red Wood, a type of conifer. It's one of the largest trees in the wood. It's got a trunk as big as, four ten year old boys arms around it, huge isn't it!
We can fit twenty one children around it (lying down). We sat their for ten minutes, listening to the birds and seeing what we could hear, it was a wonderful day. When I looked up I thought of what it would be like to be a squirrel, so high up in a tree. If I were a squirrel I know I would rather be me.
