Willy Wonka pays the poor Oompa Loompas in Cocao Beans instead of a proper wage. The poor, exploited Oompa Loompas are denied a proper education, holidays or even days off.

Most shockingly, Willy Wonka carries out the most dreadful experiments you could ever think of, on living members of his workforce. Such as when he sent an old Oompa Loompa into high Kingdom Come with fizzy lifting drinks. Or trying out some hair toffee on an unsuspecting Oompa Loompa who now has to shave constantly with a lawn mower. Among the terrible catalogue of cruel experiments is a case of twenty Oompa Loompas being turned into huge blueberries in order to test a defective recipe for a three course chewing gum meal!

We can only guess how many Oompa Loompas were maimed or killed during the testing of the "exploding sweets for your enemies", drowned in a Lemonade Swimming pool, broken their necks on a coconut Ice skating rink, or died from alcoholic poisoning from the testing of "buttergin." How many tooth fairies have got stuck under sticky, half eaten marshmallow pillows?
