Charcoal Pictures by Year 4

These pictures were made using 100 year old charcoal dug up at an abandoned pitstead in Skelghyll wood, Ambleside, during a day out with the National Trust. The children's pictures represent the work that would have been going on in the woods about one hundred years ago.
