Other parts of the Ambleside Mural

Pictures and facts by Grasmere Class

Mrs Bagot made the tile of Fred's Bookshop in the middle of Ambleside. She like this shop a lot.

Thousands of people come to the Lake District to enjoy outdoor sports such as climbing and walking.

This part of the Mural shows the Church and Park, both near to our school. You can see how busy the roads are!

The rocking horse was used by children for many years at Ambleside Primary School. Some parents and even Grandparents remember playing on it when they were children. It is now at a local museum.

One of the mountains on the mural is covered in snow. If we are lucky we get lots of snow and the school will be closed. We can then enjoy going out sledging, skiing and having snowball fights.

People constantly walk past our school with waterproof jackets and boots on. They park in Ambleside and climb up the nearby hills.
