"From our Classroom Window"

Kuala Lumpur

  • We can see rainforest-tropical trees (some Palm trees)
  • There are mountains in the distance
  • Sometimes monkeys come down.
  • There is a half complete hospital being built next door.
  • The soil is red where they've dug a hill.
  • The sky is blue.
  • It is 34c and sunny, sometimes a bit sticky!
  • On the other side of our school are tall condominuims and a new housing estate.
  • Behind our school is the jungle! Which they haven't attacked yet thank goodness! It is lush green.
  • In our playground and on the field at break time there are children from all around the world playing together!
  • A lot of boys play football.
  • In our class children come from, UK, Australia, Japan, Korea, India, Malaysia, South America, Canada, Germany, Singapore, Indonesia,Switzerland, USA!

 

Ambleside

  • I can see a hill called Wansfell it is 2000 ft high.
  • I can see some birds - they are blackbirds.
  • We have just seen two robins with red bellies.
  • The houses are made of grey slate.
  • We can see a half painted house.
  • There are lots of trees and a grassy bank.
  • Daffodils are trying to grow.
  • Most of the trees do not have any leaves yet.
  • The snowdrops look beautiful.
  • There are lots of dry stone walls.
  • There is snow on top of the mountains.
  • We can see a map of the UK in our playground.
  • Lots of tourists walk past our school.
  • It is windy and cold outside.
