TIPS AND TRICKS

• When the LOGO procedure is drawing you can click pause. This allows you to change colours and pensizes as the drawing is being created - This really useful idea was contributed by children at Lanercost Primary School in West Cumbria who collaborated with Ambleside on a LOGO procedure exchange. • Add sound or music to a LOGO procedure by using the sound command. E.g: sound [3000 200] will play a short high pitched sound! Change the numbers for other effects - Try adding it to a repeating or random procedure. Highly annoying! Make a long procedure signal you when it has finished. Make an alarm sound when a certain size or angle has been reached! Make a recognizable tune by working out which values make certain notes - compare them with a piano or recorder. The possibilities are endless!
