Within a few minutes of being introduced to the
awesome program, Bryce 2 on our new AppleMac

The full PC/MAC version of Bryce 2 has been on several magazine coverdisks over the past couple of years. It is an ideal extension program for the many children at KS2 and beyond who quickly master the recommendations for using 2D bitmapped and vector based programs. It uses an incredibly intuitive 3D drawing environment, in which scenes are created from simple objects called "primitives" - globes, disks, planes, etc. which can be "grouped" together. A huge range of "surfaces and bumpmaps" are easily assigned to the objects before the final camera placement and rendering. A year 4/5 child can master the basics in a couple of minutes.
