Selected Pictures:
We are creating a video diary and picture archive in school. Here are some highlights (UPDATED WEEKLY)

Returning to school after a half term week away, it was clear that a bird had moved in! For a few days we thought the nest had been abandoned, but the blue tits returned.

They may have been investigating several sites before deciding on our birdbox.

More materials were brought to the nest and it began to take shape. Sometimes we would see two birds in the nest but they never stayed long enough to capture a picture.
Returning from the Easter Holiday, one of the birds seemed to be spending a lot of time sitting in the nest. Spinning round and adjusting the twigs, grass and feathers.

Our first glimpse of the eggs! As we watched one day the bird flew out. We could count seven perfect little eggs!

Wonderful.....

Using a live TV feed, children can watch and hear all the activity in the nest.
