THE ABDUCTION by Barnaby Mulder!

Prologue

Hi! I'm Harry and I'm 9 years old. My friend's called Thomas and he's 11. Our dads were astronauts but when they came back to Earth they were found dead in their capsule.

Chapter 1

It all started when I went to the cinema to watch my favourite movie, it was all about space aliens from Mercury and when I walked home Thomas started playing with me!! We played at each others houses, visited our dad's graves and told each other stories about space aliens abducting people and taking them to Mercury and Mars!

One night just after dark we went to the school playing field and lay down on our backs looking up at the stars. When we got bored we got our torches out and flashed them pretending we were sending a secret message to the aliens.

Suddenly a star started moving towards us!? We thought it might be a helicopter but still it got closer and closer! In the end it was neither a star or a helicopter, it was an alien spaceship!! a UFO!!! We could not believe our eyes it was just like the story we told each other this morning! We started to run as fast as we could! But before we could even run one metre, the light from the UFO sucked us up into the ship!!! As soon as we were in the ship we got knocked unconcious.

Chapter 2

When I awoke I was in a bed with a terrible headache. I looked up and saw I was in a room with windows everywere except the floor. Thomas was still unconcious so I thought I would stay in bed until he woke up. Finally he woke up, we both had giant bumps on our heads. There was a beautiful view of space, but wait a moment? We are in space! We were so confused that we thought it was a good idea to find out what was happening. We both crept to the door and peered out to find a guards laser gun sticking out from the corner.

"We're never going to get past, and we don't know if that guard's human."

"Shhh! Someone's coming," said Thomas

We crept back to our beds and remained silent.

"Harry. He's gone, I peeped he's alien alright."

We went to have another look.

"The guard's gone. Now's our chance." said I

We ran to the nearest door, it was the restroom.

"POOWIF! Thomas was that you!" I said as alien manure stung my nose.

We went back in the main hallway, a guard had just walked past.I ran up to his back and hit it as hard as I could, grabbed his laser and started shooting. Thomas picked up a laser and helped. We made our way to a hover bike, just as we got in it the ship landed and we sped off across Mercury. After 3 hours we came to a sign, it said

"SPIRITS OF MARK GLEN AND JOHN ALAN"

Thomas and I screamed

"THEY'RE OUR DADS!!!!!"

We picked up 2 empty bottles from the back of the hover bike and ran. We found the ghostly spirits put them in the bottles and ran back to the hover bike. It was a race against time, we had to get back to the ship as quickly as possible! We just made it in time to hide behind some barrels near the entrance.

Chapter 3

After a long trip we finally made it to Earth without being spotted by a guard. The hatch opened and we hopped out unseen, but it wasn't over yet. We ran to the graveyard with the spirits and shovels and dug up our fathers graves and put the spirits in Mark and Johns bodies and waited for 10 seconds. It was the longest 10 seconds of our lives! Finally, Mark and John woke up from their sleep and cuddled their sons.
