7 IS a Prime Number. It cannot be made by multiplying any other numbers except 1 and itself.
1 IS NOT a Prime Number because the definition of a Prime Number is that it must have 2 factors, itself and one. Therefore one cannot be a Prime as it only has 1 factor.
